Manzo was the Project Director for a CDC-funded chronic disease prevention project, “Good Health & Wellness in Indian Country,” with the Montana-Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council in Billings, MT. She has taught the American Indian Health class for NAS. Ms. Manzo is especially interested in youth suicide prevention and the health effects related to historical trauma and has worked on the “Planting Seeds of Hope Youth Suicide Prevention Project.” She is completing her doctorate in Public Health Sciences at WVU.
